On Friday, February 12, 2016, at 12:00 Noon at the statue of Abraham Lincoln at the entrance of Lincoln Park, Kennedy Boulevard and Belmont Avenue in Jersey City, Association Vice President Mr. John J. Hallanan III, Esq. will host the monument ceremony. There is a map in the Events link in the left sidebar.
Dr. Jules Ladenheim, a Past President of the Lincoln Association, will recite a selected letter or speech of President Lincoln. The ceremony will conclude with a placing of a wreath at the monument and light refreshments will be served. This ceremony is a free public service.
Additionally, there will be a glee club performance by the Dominoes of St. Dominic Academy of Jersey City
Later that evening at 6:00 PM, the Association will host the One Hundred Fifty-first Annual Commemoration and Dinner. The speaker that night is Distinguished Professor of American Studies and History at Rutgers University, Louis Masur.
The evening also will have another of Lincoln’s orations delivered by Past President Dr. Jules Ladenheim.

You will receive an invitation in the mail if you have attended the dinner in the past. The price of the dinner is $95. The Association, however, is eager for the participation of Lincoln enthusiasts in planning and conducting administrative, educational, and other outreach programs.
